Welcome to the Totteridge Manor Association

The Association was established in 1954 via a transfer of the ownership, rights and responsibilities attached to the lands belonging to the Manor of Totteridge to a new charity; the Totteridge Manor Association. The objectives of the Association were established as: "maintaining and preserving the common lands formerly held by the lord of the manor of Totteridge and the rural amenities attached thereto, for the benefit of the residents of Totteridge and neighbouring districts and visitors”.

The work of the Association is carried out by a number of contractors who know the Manor lands well, supplemented from time-to-time by specialists. All work is overseen by a Council of volunteers plus two representatives appointed by the London Borough of Barnet. The TMA is financed by a combination of wayleaves, membership fees, private donations and investment income.
